What is in the report?

  • How often your business appears: the number of answers that named you, out of the questions we tested. A range shows the uncertainty in this sample.
  • Other businesses mentioned: business names detected in those answers, how often, and by which assistant.
  • Source links returned: the websites and directories each assistant cited, especially in answers that left you out.
  • Fact checks: whether an assistant gave out a wrong phone number or address for you, shown with the answer that contains the error.
  • Website access: whether the instructions in your robots.txt file allow the AI search tools we check to read your website.
  • What to review first: findings listed in order of importance, each with plain-language instructions for whoever maintains your website.
  • Every original answer, so you can verify everything yourself.

How does the assessment work?

  1. You tell us your business name, city, category and up to two main services. Add your website if you have one; it is optional.
  2. We ask each AI assistant the questions customers ask: the best businesses of your kind in your city, a nearby recommendation, who offers each of your main services, and your address and phone number.
  3. Each question is asked several times per assistant, because AI answers change from one ask to the next.
  4. We record every original answer, the sources each assistant cited, whether your business was named, which competitors were named instead, and whether your phone and address were stated correctly.
  5. We check your robots.txt to confirm AI search crawlers are allowed to read your site.
  6. You receive a private link to your report. It shows how often AI mentioned your business, the other businesses named, source links and the issues your website team should review first.

Why ask each question more than once?

AI assistants do not give the same answer every time. Ask ChatGPT for the best plumber in Whitby twice and you can get two different lists. A single test can make a business look visible or invisible by chance.

AI answers can change even when your business has not changed. We can repeat questions and show a statistical range around the result. Compare reports that use the same questions and settings; a small difference may simply reflect different answers.

What is not included?

  • We do not edit your website, listings or reviews. The report tells you or the person who manages your website what to change.
  • Google AI Overviews and AI Mode are not tested yet.
  • API answers can differ from what a person sees in the ChatGPT or Gemini app, which can use location and personal history.
  • No guarantee of rankings, recommendations, traffic or sales.

How much does AIRank cost?

Starter is $39 CAD per business, per report, plus applicable tax. You can add up to four more businesses on the same order at the same price. There is no annual contract.

How do I order a report?

Enter your business details and complete the payment step. We prepare your report after payment confirmation and send a private link when it is ready. A customer account is not required.

Which AI assistants do you check?

ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, through each vendor's API with web search where the vendor offers it. Every report names the assistants that actually answered; an assistant that fails is marked unavailable, never counted against you. Google AI Overviews is not tested.

Do you guarantee that AI will recommend my business?

No. Nobody can guarantee what an AI assistant says. AIRank shows you what the assistants said, the sources they used and which businesses they chose instead, so you can decide what to change and see whether it worked.

How long does it take to get my report?

We prepare your report after payment is confirmed. Our team sends a delivery update, then emails your private report link when the assessment is complete.

Can I see an example first?

Yes. The example report uses a fictional dental clinic so you can see the format before ordering.
